Welcome to The Holiday United Group or, as we like to call ourselves, HUG.

We’re a multi-disciplinary production house which is a fancy way of saying we specialize in all aspects of production – motion, photography, and post-production. We’re especially adept at combining these skills into a “full-service” production approach for our clients.

Our story began in 2008 with the founding of Holiday Films, built to create top-tier motion work.

Nimble Content followed in 2015 after conversations with clients seeking new ways to approach production in the wake of the digital revolution. The Nimble ethos was born, a creative and budget-friendly approach to capture content specifically for online platforms. Recess Post and The Cavalry Photography soon followed to complete the wrap-around approach our clients told us they needed.

In 2018, we brought our collective together under one name, the Holiday United Group (HUG), a full-service production Group committed to serving your ideas and empowering you to explore new approaches.

Michael is a proud Anishnaabe from the Mississaugi River No. 8 First Nation, and band member of the M’Chigeeng First Nation.

He fosters an environment where every individual’s contribution is recognized as crucial to the success of any project.

Courtney manages strategic and day-to-day areas of production, including bidding, schedules, managing suppliers, and client management. Courtney oversees sustainability in office and on each project and works with HUG’s international partners on service work, to ensure everything required to execute the creative vision is covered on every project.
